OpenStreetMap research with Overpass and Postpass — no code required.

Map-Ops brings structured geodata research together in a protected interface. Overpass Turbo-style queries, Postpass and distance rules – without a single line of code.

What Map-Ops can do

Overpass & Postpass without code

Build complex Overpass queries and Postpass requests through a graphical interface – no query syntax required.

Distance rules

Find objects in spatial relation to each other: check whether two object types lie within a defined distance of each other.

Map-based analysis

Results are instantly visualised on the interactive map and can be searched and filtered in table view.

Export support

Export results as CSV, HTML, KML or GPX – for GIS workflows, documentation and reports.

Multiple search modes

Radius search, administrative area, drawn map area or full area dump – depending on the task.

Presets & quick access

System and user presets for frequently used tag combinations – save once, reuse whenever needed.

Use cases

OSINT & terrain research

Quickly and systematically research infrastructure, facilities and objects in an area – based on publicly available OSM data.

GEOINT & geodata analysis

Prepare, export and integrate OpenStreetMap geodata for geospatial analysis and existing GIS workflows.

Planning & mapping

Query and document POIs, transport infrastructure, buildings and land use for planning projects.
